Dr. Michael Donovan

Dr. Michael Donovan was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida but has always known he was a New Yorker at heart. At the University of Florida, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences before heading north to Massachusetts to pursue dentistry. Dr. Donovan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. He received the American College of Prosthodontists Outstanding Undergraduate Prosthodontic Achievement Award that same year. The doctor immediately continued his education at New York University College of Dentistry, completing a three-year specialty program in Prosthodontics. During his time there, he served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for Prosthodontics in the Pre-Doctoral clinic and was awarded the Panadent Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award. Dr. Donovan has passed the American Board of Prosthodontists written examination and is currently challenging the other sections. He is constantly trying to build upon his vast knowledge of dentistry and is presently conducting clinical research on Cone-Beam Computed Tomography and dental implants. He holds memberships in the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics and the International Team for Implantology. Dr. Donovan resides in Manhattan and enjoys playing golf, traveling, trying new restaurants and attending sporting events in his free time.
